The Church Belles of the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset will host two speakers at their meeting on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.

Learn how to recycle kitchen scraps in your home and reduce your ecological footprint. John O’Connell of Lincoln County Recycling will speak on the simple and odorless way to compost and reduce the amount of trash brought to the local transfer station.

The second speaker of the evening will be Marianne Pinkham with information on Spectrum Generations, a nonprofit organization hosting a variety of living, learning and caring classes, and offering multiple ways to volunteer.

The meeting is open to the public.
