Presented by The Emporium Spooky Goods and More in Bangor at The Waldo After Dark, we invite you to join us in celebrating the 40th anniversary of David Cronenberg’s body-horror masterpiece, The Fly.
When brilliant scientist Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) successfully teleports himself, he doesn’t realize he shared the pod with a housefly—triggering a gruesome molecular fusion.
What begins as a leap in human evolution spiraling into a tragic, stomach-churning transformation, forcing his lover (Geena Davis) to witness the death of the man and the birth of the "Brundlefly."
Forty years later, it remains the ultimate cautionary tale: Be afraid. Be very afraid.
The Fly has a runtime of 96 minutes and is rated R.
The "R" rating was assigned by the MPAA for its graphic body horror, including intense scenes of physical transformation, violence, and gore, as well as some moderate sexual content and language.
Doors open at 6pm. Film starts at 7pm.
