Angela Pinkham
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angela “Angie” Pinkham of Boothbay Harbor, Maine, who left us on Feb. 8, 2026, at the age of 55. Born and raised in the Boothbay Region, Angie brought joy and laughter to everyone she encountered. A proud graduate of Boothbay Region High School, Class of 1984, she cherished her hometown and was a devoted Boothbay Seahawk fan, passionately supporting the basketball teams when she could.
Angie was a beloved caretaker, a nurturing presence in the lives of her nieces and nephews, who all found comfort and love in her warm embrace. She had a remarkable gift for brightening any room with her comical spirit and fabulous personality. Those who knew her were drawn to her infectious positivity and unwavering kindness.
Throughout her life, she excelled as a Special Olympics competitor, showcasing her talents in summer sports such as basketball and roller skating, with the latter being her favorite, and winter skiing. Angie embraced every challenge with a spirited attitude and a smile that could light up the darkest days.
In her free time, she enjoyed coloring, cooking, and cleaning. A passionate thrifter, she had a thoughtful nature and a knack for finding treasures that brought joy not only to herself but also to her friends and family.
Angie will be deeply missed but her spirit will remain with us -- an everlasting presence in our hearts.
Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Collena “Connie” Pinkham, just four months ago.
Angela leaves behind her loving father, Gary A. Pinkham of Boothbay Harbor, as well as her sister, Sherri Thompson and partner Donald Durrell of Eustis. She is also survived by her beloved nephews, Weston Alley and wife Jasmine of Boothbay, Maxwell Alley and wife Kathleen of Boothbay Harbor, Collin Thompson and his partner Kate of Southport, and her niece, Jennifer Manson and husband David of Boothbay. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her special friend, Karen Morton of Boothbay.
In honoring Angela's memory, we invite all to join us in a celebration of her life. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Boothbay Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Family and friends are encouraged to share their memories, laughter, and stories of Angie, reflecting the vibrant spirit she embodied.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that contributions be made to the Maine Special Olympics, an organization that held a special place in Angela's heart, as a way to continue her legacy of support and love.
