ROCKPORT - The 48th Maine Fishermen’s Forum concluded over the weekend at the Samoset Resort. Capacity crowds on Friday and a Saturday snowstorm failed to deter attendees nor diminish spirits. The Maine Fishermen’s Forum was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1984 and is dedicated to holding the annual event for the Maine fishing communities. 

After a three-year hiatus, this years event saw a record number of exhibitors (the largest trade show in its history) which is an intricate part of the forum as it attracts businesses from all over New England and exposes them to Maine’s fishing industry.
