Annetta B. Morton, 94, of Boothbay Harbor, died May 15 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor.

She was born on Loud’s Island August 11, 1918 to Alden and Inez Carter Collamore. She grew up in Round Pond and attended local schools.

She moved to Boothbay where she met and married Milan B. Morton Sr. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She enjoyed knitting, embroidery, hand-work, reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband and several siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Milan Morton Jr. of Wiscasset, Maynard Morton of Westport, David Morton of Trevett, and by her daughters, Helen Mackenzie of Alna, Isabelle Howe of Lewiston, and Nancy Leavitt of Boothbay Harbor, along with 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service at the Wylie Cemetery on Saturday, May 18.
