Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 199 calls for service for the period of April 22 to April 29. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,371 calls for service.
Summonses
Susanna W. Thorne, 72, of Somerville was issued a summons April 22 for Dog at Large, on Crummett Mountain Road, Somerville, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison, on behalf of Animal Control Officer Lindsay Smith.
Ivan Aliza Little McCoy, 28, of East Boothbay was issued a summons April 23 for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy James Read.
Arrests
Nurmukhammad Rakhmonzoda, 27, of Apopka, Florida was arrested April 22 on three arrest warrants, one out of Lincoln County for Theft and Criminal Conspiracy and two out of Hancock County for charges of Class C and D Theft, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Christopher M. Collins, 36, of Vassalboro was arrested April 24 for Operating under the Influence, on Back Narrows Road, Boothbay Harbor, by Deputy Mark Fortin, who was assisted by Chief Doug Snyder of Boothbay Harbor Police and Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Matthew Chapman, 38, of Lewiston was arrested April 24 on a Lincoln County warrant for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer. Mr. Chapman was arrested on the warrant by Androscoggin County, on behalf of Transport Deputy James Read.
Accidents
On April 22, an accident occurred on Butler Road in Boothbay involving Selena A. Brewer, 52, of Boothbay. Ms. Brewer was operating her 2015 GMC Sierra northbound, around a corner, on Butler Road, when her vehicle went off the roadway on the right and struck a large rock. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On April 24, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Morgan M. Riley, 29, of Waldoboro. Ms. Riley was operating her 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when a turkey flew out in front of her from the left side and was struck, causing the windshield to break. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On April 28, an accident occurred on Cedar Grove Road in Dresden involving Michael A. Ladner, 52, of Pittston. Mr. Ladner was operating his 2024 Subaru Forester southbound when an unknown black car entered into his lane. Mr. Ladner avoided the unknown vehicle by going into the shoulder to the right and then over correcting, entering back into the roadway. This caused the vehicle to travel across the roadway, leaving the roadway on the left side, striking an embankment and numerous trees before traveling up into the woods and coming to rest. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
