Ed Brown’s Wharfside Gallery at Pier 7 will premier a free slide show “Artist Mind + Art Process,” throughout Wednesday, Oct. 3.

The slide show, an approximate three-minute loop displayed on a small screen, is produced by Karla Whitney. 

Whitney is a year-round Maine resident and artist represented by Wharfside. Her career crisscrosses fine art, graphic design, writing and teaching. This slide show melds her skills and reveals ideas about making art as a living.

Limited prints of Whitney’s work, including 2013 poster calendars, will be available at Ed Brown’s Wharfside Gallery at Pier 7, 44 Commercial St. in Boothbay Harbor.

Brown specializes in paintings of local scenes, including harbors, sailboats, cottages, historic buildings and maritime commissions. For more information, call the gallery at 633-5278.
