Baked bean supper in Newcastle Saturday

Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Sheepscott Community Church a baked bean supper will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Harriet Gertrude Bird Clubhouse, 619 Sheepscot Road in Newcastle.
The menu includes homemade beans and franks, biscuits and Pat's famous brown bread, salads, sides, pies, hot and cold drinks. Seating is available inside and out - weather permitting.
Dinner is free but goodwill donations accepted. A portion of donations will go directly to a local charity dedicated to helping Lincoln County families, children, elderly or pets.
