Barbara “Lori” Reed, 62, died March 30, 2026, at the Sussman House in Rockport where she was peacefully surrounded by family during her final days.

Lori was born Sept. 30, 1963, in Boothbay Harbor, Maine to Robert Reed and Judith Rines Reed. Lori grew up in Wiscasset and graduated from Wiscasset High School.

Lori worked as a waitress for many years at the Tugboat Inn in Boothbay Harbor and Montsweag in Wiscasset. Later in her life she sold wild Maine blueberries along Route one in Wiscasset. Lori was well known as funny person who could light up any room with her outgoing, caring, lovable and generous attitude.

Lori loved the outdoors and taking walks in her natural surroundings. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

Lori was predeceased by her parents, brothers Robert Reed and Mike Reed.

Lori is survived by her son, Jeremiah Hogan of Wiscasset; daughters, Bobbi Gauthier of Wiscasset and Chauntyl Gauthier of Waldoboro; sisters, Becky Mihalos of Wiscasset and Kathy Skelton of Bowdoinham; brothers, Bruce Reed of Augusta and John Reed of Bath; grandchildren, Sierra Hogan, Serenity Hogan, Jaxon Hogan, Sawyer Harrington, Keegan Gauthier, Lylah Gauthier, Dottilynn Gauthier, Omaily Sanchez and Colten Ward; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at a later date to be announced.
