In an effort to raise awareness about domestic abuse and to inform all interested parties about how they can lend assistance, Water of Life Lutheran Church of Newcastle invites the public to attend a dinner and program on Saturday, Oct. 29 to benefit the Lincoln County branch of New Hope For Women. The dinner is being presented by the Church in conjunction with New Hope for Women's Domestic Abuse Awareness month which culminates at the end of October. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Water Of Life which is located on Route 1 in Newcastle.

A meal of baked ham, macaroni and cheese, salad and ice cream will be prepared and served by members of the Church and followed by a brief program which will include an overview by Mary Hanley of New Hope for Women as well as a message from Rev. Carolyn Neighoff, minister at Water of Life. A suggested donation of $10 by persons in attendance will benefit New Hope For Women.
