CTL students launch underwater robots

Tue, 10/08/2019 - 7:30am

Students in grades 7-8 at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Edgecomb had an exciting launch to their SeaPerch Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) at the Boothbay Region YMCA pool. SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater ROV in an in-school or out-of-school setting. Each student was able to drive their ROV up, down, and all over the pool, testing and adjusting the buoyancy and recording data.
