After hosting 13 successful drive-up flu clinics during September and October across Lincoln County, the Lincoln Medical Partners team in Damariscotta has scheduled an additional clinic. It takes place Saturday, Oct. 29 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Watson Health Center on the Miles campus.

The vaccination process begins with participants driving up to register (please remember your insurance card). They move on to receive the vaccination while remaining in the car. The clinics are open to ages 7 and up, and it’s a good idea to wear a short-sleeved shirt to make it easier to administer the vaccine. All insurances except TriCare are accepted and you do not need to be a Lincoln Medical Partners patient.

The bivalent COVID-19 booster is also available at the clinic, but this vaccine requires participants to go inside the building because of a 15-minute observation period after receiving the shot.
