Celebrate Earth Day with a behind-the-scenes look at how recycling and composting work in Lincoln County. Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission invites the public to an Earth Day Open House at the Lincoln County Recycling Plant on Wednesday, April 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 54 Huntoon Hill Road in Wiscasset.

Attendees can tour the facility, learn about local recycling and composting programs, and take part in a hands-on activity by planting a native plant using locally produced compost.
