The public is invited to a family contradance at the Damariscotta Baptist Church Hall on Friday, Dec. 13 --- part of an ongoing series of second Friday of the month contradances. The dance will be held at the church located at the corner of Bristol Road and Main Street, Damariscotta.

The evening will begin at 6:30 with dances accompanied by the Oyster Creek Fiddlers & Friends. The dance lasts until 8 p.m. Local musicians are welcome to sit in. No experience is necessary and all dances will be taught.

This contradance series is brought to you by local musicians and students and is a fundraiser for the Friends of Music Education at Great Salt Bay School. Suggested donations are $5 for adults, $3 for students, little kids are free and $10 at most for families.
