The First announces new staffing in Lincoln County offices
Tony C. McKim, President and CEO of The First, N.A. and its parent company, The First Bancorp, recently announced several staff appointments in the bank’s Lincoln County offices.
Brenda Blackman has been appointed VP, branch manager of the Boothbay Harbor office. Blackman has been with The First for 33 years, most recently serving as the business relationship officer in Boothbay Harbor. She is an active member of the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club.
Lorna Weber has been appointed AVP, mortgage loan officer to serve customers on the Boothbay peninsula and in the Wiscasset area. She has been with The First for 14 years, having served as branch manager for the Boothbay Harbor and Wiscasset offices. She currently serves as the president of the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Bonnie Lash, VP, senior mortgage loan officer, has moved from Damariscotta to the Waldoboro office. Lash has been assisting Midcoast area homeowners and purchasers with their borrowing needs for more than 25 years. She will continue to serve all of her existing customers in addition to serving new customers of the Waldoboro office. Lash serves on the Medomak Valley Community Foundation Board of Directors and is an affiliate member of Lincoln County Board of Realtors.
Sherry Smith has been appointed AVP, mortgage loan officer in the Damariscotta office. Smith has been with The First for more than 22 years and most recently served as the Damariscotta branch manager. Smith is a member of the Damariscotta/Newcastle Lions Club.
