The Boothbay Register is giving away two tickets to see Paul Sullivan at the Boothbay Harbor Opera House on Saturday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m.
Sullivan is a Grammy-winning jazz pianist and composer who spent the early days of his career in New York City where he played and conducted for Broadway shows.
Nearly 30 years ago, he moved to Maine. In the decades since, he has produced over a dozen albums, while continuing his work as a member of the Paul Winter Consort. He is also a regular composer for the Pilobolus Dance Theater.
“In performance, Sullivan creates a relaxed and intimate feeling with his audience through his pleasant and quirky observations about music and life,” Sullivan’s website states. “His warm and inviting personality, coupled with his world-class musicianship, wins over new listeners immediately and usually makes them life-long fans.”
To enter the giveaway, visit the Boothbay Register Facebook page, comment on the post and tag the person you’d like to bring to this free night of great music.
Entries will be accepted between 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 23, and 10 a.m., Friday, July 24. The winner will be chosen at random. Tickets must be picked up in person.
