Larry Pitcher reminds the community about the collection box at Nathan’s Pharmacy for dogs, cats and other critters at Midcoast Humane.

Items needed include food, toys, paper towels, towels, blankets, bleach, litter, flea and tick protection, leashes, collars ... “This community really cares about the animals and donate quality stuff,” Pitcher said adding, his book, ”My Life and Times with Whitey,” illustrated by Bob Bryson, is available there for sale - and all proceeds go to Midcoast Humane in Edgecomb and Brunswick.
