Jazz with Marcus & Riza Printup & Friends in July

The Boothbay Sea and Science Center and the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library are very pleased to share that this summer they are partnering on a very exciting Summer Weekend of Jazz with proceeds from these events going to support their youth programs.

On Saturday, July 20, A Summer Evening of Jazz with Marcus and Riza Printup Quartet will be held at The Shipyard in Boothbay Harbor, at 120 Commercial Street in Boothbay Harbor in Building #5. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with music from 7-10 p.m. (2 sets). Complimentary coffee and dessert will be served during the break. Cash bar available throughout the evening.

A Shipyard talk and tour of the Schooner Ernestina-Morrissey, which is currently undergoing restoration at the Shipyard, will be held at 6 p.m. for ticket holders only.

On Sunday, July 21, a children’s jazz concert - I Have A Song Inside My Heart: A Summer Afternoon of Jazz with Riza Printup & Friends - will be held at at The Shipyard in Boothbay Harbor in Building #5 from 2-3 p.m. The children’s jazz concert is free; however, reservation is required for admittance.

The Boothbay Sea and Science Center (BSSC) offers sailing, boating and experiential marine science programs to youth ages 5 - 17.
