June 15 update: Knox County records new, recovered COVID-19 cases

AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 15, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.

Today, there are 2,810 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,495 confirmed cases and 315 probable cases. 

Across the state, 2,189 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 101 people have died. The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 317.

Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 31 hospitalized, including 11 in critical care and four on a ventilator. There are 185 available critical care beds out of 398 total and 263 available ventilators of 321 total and 441 alternative ventilators. 

By sex, 1,437 females have tested positive in the state and 1,373 males have tested positive.

The below cases represents the number of full-time Maine residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC.
