June 16 update: Waldo County records COVID-19 recovery

AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 16, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.

Today, there are 2,819 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,499 confirmed cases and 320 probable cases. 

Across the state, 2,233 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 101 people have died. The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 321.

Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 30 hospitalized, including 10 in critical care and six on a ventilator. There are 160 available critical care beds out of 401 total and 257 available ventilators of 318 total and 441 alternative ventilators. 

By sex, 1,443 females have tested positive in the state and 1,376 males have tested positive.
