Keith Jameson

Keith Jameson, 78, of Port Saint Lucie, Fla. died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Tiffany Hall Nursing Home.

He was born in Bath on June 16, 1934, a son of Merle and Eleanor (Hathorn) Jameson.

He graduated from Morse High School in the class of 1952. He attended Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield and received his post graduate in Bath. In 1959, he graduated from Northeastern College earning a bachelor's degree in engineering.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1959 and served in the Army reserve in Lewiston as a captain until 1972.

He lived in Jefferson from 1965 to 1983 where he owned and operated Jameson Real Estate. From 1954 to 1983 he also was employed for GTE in Waldoboro, retiring as engineering manager. In 1983 he was employed in Juarez, Mexico as a plant manager, which was a satellite plant for the Waldoboro facility.

In 1986 he was the engineering manager for the Winchester, Ky., operation in Juarez, retiring in 1993.

He was a member of the Port Saint Lucie Lodge of Elks and a member of the Stuart Baptist Church in Stuart, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Gail E. Jameson of Brunswick; two sons, Bently Jameson and his wife Rose of Perry, Fla., and Randal Jameson and his wife Theresa of Woolwich; three grandchildren, Meghan Foster and her husband Kevin of Cumberland, Brett Jameson and his wife Leslie of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kristen Jameson of Dalton, N.H.; three great-grandchildren, Adria Foster, Rylie Jameson and Owen Jameson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Merleen Morang on March 29, 2013.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath.
