Lincoln County indictments

The Lincoln County grand jury decided on several indictments the week of Jan. 6-10. An indictment indicates there is enough evidence to proceed to a trial. All listed are innocent until proven guilty.

Adekunle Adeyanju, 39, of Bath, one count of Class A Kidnapping, one count of Class A Gross Sexual Assault, and one count of Class C Gross Sexual Assault, in March 2019 in Wiscasset. Adeyanju faces the possibility of 30 years in prison and up to a $50,000 fine for the two Class A crimes, and up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine for the Class C count.

Dana Boardman, 63, of Waldoboro, Theft by Deception, Class C, between June 2015 and July 2018.

James Forbis, 37, of Buxton, Aggravated Assault, Class B, Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening, Class C, and Domestic Violence Assault, Class C, in Whitefield on Aug. 15. He was also indicted on Violation of Conditions of Release, Class C, for attempting to contact the alleged victim Nov. 14.

Joshua Ellis, 36, currently at Maine State Prison serving time on another matter, was indicted for Robbery, Class B; Burglary, Class B; Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Class C; Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, Class C; and Assault, Class D, on Nov. 2, 2018 in Waldoboro.
