Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 236 calls for service for the period of Nov. 25 to Dec. 2. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 13,359 calls for service.
Arrests
Caleb N. Fitzgerald, 34, of Alna was arrested Nov. 25 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Colpit Road, Alna, by Deputy Mark Fortin.
Ashlynn Foss, 26, of Dresden was arrested Nov. 26 for Operating under the Influence and Leaving Scene of Motor Vehicle Accident, on Calls Hill Road, Dresden, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Michael G. Budrow, 73, of Bristol was arrested Nov. 27 for Operating under the Influence – No Test, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Accidents
On Nov. 25, an accident occurred on River Road in Edgecomb involving Andrew J. Marsh, 71, of Boothbay. Mr. Marsh was operating his 2018 Dodge 1500 northbound when he fell asleep and went off the roadway. As a result, his vehicle went off the road on the right and rolled over, colliding with a guardrail end. His vehicle sustained significant damage and tore up 20-30 feet of guardrail. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 25, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Jamie Decoteau, 37, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Decoteau was operating his 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager northbound when a deer suddenly entered the roadway and was struck, causing disabling damage to the front of his vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Marica A. Richardson, 86, of Westport Island. Ms. Richardson was operating her 2006 Subaru Legacy southbound when a vehicle with bright headlights passed by her operating in the opposite direction. A witness that was traveling behind Richardson’s vehicle, stated that Ms. Richardson then crossed over the center line and struck a tree. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 30, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Jason D. Schlosser, 51, of Boothbay Harbor and Dominic R. Hastings, 42, of Boothbay Harbor. Mr. Schlosser was following Mr. Hastings, who was operating his 2011 Cadillac SRX, northbound in his 2020 Toyota 4Runner. Schlosser advised that Hastings was traveling slowly and started to pull over to the right, then as they crested a hill, slowed down. Schlosser then passed Hastings on the left (double line, no passing zone) as Hastings began to make a left turn. As a result, Schlosser struck Hastings from behind. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
