Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 1 arrest
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 251 calls for service for the period of Jan. 20 to Jan. 27. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 960 calls for service.
Summons
Kathryn W. Mastricolo, 45, of Augusta was issued a summons Jan. 20 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrest
Nicholas A. Littlefield, 24, of Boothbay was arrested Jan. 24 for Domestic Violence Assault and Domestic Violence Terrorizing (x2), on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Accidents
On Jan. 21, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Carol L. Gifford, 58, of Newcastle and Alexander D. Murray, 25, of Newcastle. Mr. Murray was operating his 2015 Honda CR-V northbound, making a turn into Mexicali Blues, when he failed to yield to Ms. Gifford’s 2020 Nissan Altima, which was traveling southbound. As a result, both vehicles collided. Detective Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 23, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Jennifer L. Corbett, 40, of Cushing and Elizabeth A. D. Lombardo, 37, of Walpole. Both vehicles were attempting to merge onto Route 1 southbound with Ms. Lombardo’s 2022 Toyota Hylander being in front of Ms. Corbett’s 2022 GMC Yukon, when Corbett struck Lombardo’s vehicle in the rear. Deputy Nathan Yeaton was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 25, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Andrew R. House, 44, of Walpole. Mr. House was operating his 2003 Chevrolet K1500 southbound when a deer entered the roadway and struck the front of his vehicle, causing significant damage to the front bumper. Deputy Brandon Maciuba was the investigating officer.
