Healthgrades, a leading marketplace that connects patients and providers, recently announced that LincolnHealth Miles Campus and Hospital received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award for the third straight year.
“Hospitals that receive this award are among the top 15 percent of hospitals nationwide for providing an exceptional patient experience. We commend these organizations for their long-standing commitment to providing top quality care,” said Brad Bowman, MD, Healthgrades’ Chief Medical Officer.
Healthgrades analyzed Patient Experience Surveys to identify hospital characteristics that lead to better patient satisfaction. Of the 417 hospitals chosen nationwide, seven are from Maine. Of those, just LincolnHealth and one other hospital have earned the distinction for three successive years.
