Linda Harrington Young, 65, died July 9, 2015.

She was born on November 15, 1949 in Port Jefferson, New York, to Richard and Jean Harrington and was raised in Stony Brook, New York.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Moffatt Carter, Jean Marie Moffatt, and Jonathan Raymond Young Jr. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brittany Elizabeth Moffatt, Sara Jean Penuel, Austin Talgo and Rachel Talgo, as well as a brother, Robert Harrington, and a sister, Carolyn Lancaster.

She totally trusted Jesus in every aspect of her life and was an active Christian at St. Philip’s Church in Wiscasset, Christ Church in Gardiner and recently Holy Faith Episcopal Church in Port Saint Lucie. Linda was strong, loving, generous, faithful, fun and all about music. And we will miss her very much.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at Christ Church in Gardiner.

People are invited to a celebration of Linda’s life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Christ Church in Gardiner. A reception will follow.
