Local jeweler exhibits at craft festival
Christine Peters Hamilton, a Boothbay jeweler, has been selected to participate in the 25th annual Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival. The event will be held at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm on the southwest coast of Maine on September 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
“I’m thrilled to be invited to exhibit my work at Laudholm,” Hamilton said. “It’s a wonderful festival in beautiful surroundings with many excellent artisans.”
The Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival boasts 100 of New England’s finest artists and craftspeople in a spectacular historic setting. Sculpture, jewelry, pottery, paintings, clothing and photography are among the crafts selected by jury for this prestigious event.
All proceeds from the Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival benefit Laudholm Trust, which supports research, education and stewardship programs at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve.
