Bob Dunfey, the volunteer race director for The Maine Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay, has announced that Veggies to Table is one of four Maine beneficiaries of this year’s event which will be held on Sunday, Oct. 1. Veggies to Table will receive a $15,750 donation from the marathon.

“Veggies to Table is truly honored that Maine Marathon has chosen us, and our mission to help end hunger in Maine, as one of their 2023 grantees. We could not be more pleased. The more people who learn about food insecurity, and just how many people go hungry daily in our state, the better placed we will be to help,” said Erica Berman, executive director, Veggies to Table
