The Oct. 3 meeting of Maine Media Women will be a Christmas card-making workshop led by Carol Jaeger, owner of Salt Bay Art Supply in Damariscotta. This enjoyable hands-on workshop is open to all, and participants will go home with several beautiful and unique handmade note cards for personal use. Pre-registration is required, and the $5 fee covers all materials and instruction.

The workshop will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the River Arts Gallery, 241 U.S. Route 1 in Damariscotta, just north of N.C. Hunt Lumber. There is ample free parking available at the Gallery.
