MaineHealth Primary Care Damariscotta announces change in Saturday hours
MaineHealth Primary Care Damariscotta will no longer offer care in the office on Saturdays, but patients can get same-day care for minor illnesses or injuries at MaineHealth Walk-In Care Damariscotta — located in the same building as primary care on the Miles Campus.
Walk-In Care in Damariscotta is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., closing only on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Providers are onsite to treat a wide range of non-emergency needs including colds and flu, minor cuts, sprains and strains, headaches, ear or eye irritation, and symptoms of urinary tract infections.
MaineHealth Primary Care Damariscotta remains open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pediatric care is available until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. The practice continues to provide comprehensive family medicine, internal medicine and pediatric services, including physicals, routine screenings, vaccines, chronic condition management and ongoing preventive care. A provider is always on call for patients.
