Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 7 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 303 calls for service for the period of June 23 and June 30. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 6,305 calls for service.
Summonses
Albert A. Greenleaf, 71, of Westport was issued a summons June 24 for Criminal Mischief, on Main Road, Westport Island, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Taylor L. Johnston, 30, of Jefferson was issued a summons June 28 for Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident, on Village Street, Jefferson, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Arrests
Kaleigh-Ann Maloney, 21, of Newcastle was arrested June 24 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Sheepscot Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Jiles O. Morton, 22, of Newcastle was arrested June 24 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Sheepscot Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Gautam C. Harkhani, 35, of Erwin, Texas was arrested June 25 on a Pennsylvania warrant for Fugitive from Justice charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Meagan C. Cope, 31, of Dresden was arrested June 26 for Operating under the Influence, on Country Club Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Julia R. Small, 45, of Nobleboro was arrested June 27 for Operating under the Influence, on Wiscasset Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Zachary Smith.
Kyle A. Taylor, 42, of Boothbay was arrested June 28 for Terrorizing, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Christopher L. Byrnes, 53, of Nobleboro was arrested June 28 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Vannah Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On June 24, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Donovan T. Holmes, 21, of Greene. Mr. Holmes was operating his 2012 Honda Fit eastbound when he fell asleep as he approached the intersection. As a result, he continued through the intersection, hit the curb and entered a mowed grassy area. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On June 24, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Colleen A. Chadwick, 26, of Nobleboro and Kyle L. Richards, 39, of Brunswick. Ms. Chadwick was operating her 2018 Nissan Pathfinder northbound and attempted to make a left turn onto Middle Road at the intersection. Mr. Richards was stopped at the stop sign, at the intersection, on Middle Road, in his 2020 Ford Edge. Chadwick took the turn too sharply and struck the front of Richards’ vehicle, causing disabling damage. Chadwick’s vehicle sustained significant damage to the front driver’s corner and required a tow from the scene. Deputy Brandon Maciuba was the investigating officer.
On June 25, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Margie A. Hodgdon, 53, of Westport Island. Ms. Hodgdon was operating her 2020 Subaru Legacy southbound when she observed a deer in the roadway and struck it. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On June 25, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Michael S. Green, 79, of Bath. Mr. Green was operating his 2026 Toyota C-HR northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the woods and ran onto the highway, striking the driver’s side of his vehicle. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
On June 25, an accident occurred on River Road in Newcastle involving Skyla E.A. Carrier, 18, of Boothbay and Frank A. Strohm, 72, of Kennebunkport. Ms. Carrier was operating her 2004 Volvo 70 southbound behind Mr. Strohm’s 2026 BMW X1, on River Road. Strohm put his left blinker on and slowed down to make a left hand turn, and Carrier struck the rear of Strohm’s vehicle. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On June 27, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Jefferson involving Johnathan Blair, 23, of China. Mr. Blair was operating his 1970 Chevrolet C10 eastbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck, causing damage to the front of his vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On June 28, an accident occurred on Biscay Road in Bremen involving Heather L. Miller, 52, of Bremen. Ms. Miller was operating her 2025 Subaru Forester southbound when she fell asleep, crossed the centerline and clipped a utility pole, causing reportable minor damage to the front end of her vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
