A “Meet the Artists” reception will be held Aug. 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Round Top Farm Gallery on Business Route 1 in Damariscotta for the special exhibition “Reflections and Images of New England.”

The fine art exhibition, which runs from Aug. 17-22, features the latest work of Jennifer Litchfield of Trevett, Donna Denniston of Boothbay, and Peter Jeziorski. The one week show spotlights the artists’ interpretations of New England life in abstract and realist terms through colorful watercolors, oils, acrylics and stone.

Litchfield will show her latest impressionist and abstract paintings done in oil and acrylics. Jeziorski will exhibit his realist watercolors which features the coastal life of Maine and rural scenes of New England. Denniston will display her interpretations of the sea in alabaster and stone sculptures. The works ebb and flow harmoniously in their visions of New England today.

All three artists have displayed their work together in numerous galleries in Maine and Vermont, and have assembled their work for this special showing in Maine.

The artists’ reception will precede the Salt Bay Chamberfest concert that evening at the Round Top Farm, a community facility owned and managed by the Damariscotta River Association.
