A memorial service to celebrate the life of Arlene V.  Reed will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at the Damariscotta Baptist Church. The church is at 4 Bristol Road, Damariscotta. The Rev. Glen Vaughn will officiate. Arlene died February 8, 2013 at the Saint Andrew Village Gregory Wing Adult Care Home, Boothbay Harbor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arlene’s memory to Boothbay Region Land Trust, Ocean Point Preserve, P.O. Box 183, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery, Edgecomb.
