Morris Farm vacation property raffle
There's still time. Buy a ticket, or a few, for the popular Morris Farm Vacation Property Raffle, to be drawn on December 30, 2015. Each ticket purchase is an entry in a raffle for one of two distinctive properties: a week's stay at a historic property in the French Countryside in the Provence region, or a week's stay at a historic cottage here on the Maine coast. You specify into which property drawing you would like your tickets to be entered; there will be two drawings - one for each property.
Only 500 tickets total will be sold, but your chances are one in the number of tickets sold for each property. Both properties have been generously donated. This is one of the Morris Farm Trust's biggest fundraisers and all proceeds support the work of the Morris Farm Trust in the community, specifically toward the local food security initiative and agricultural programming for youth and adults.
The Marston House in Wiscasset has donated a week at one of their properties in the Provence region of France. Your week's stay will be in the quaint town of Apt in a sunny apartment in a restored 17th century grand home. Apt boasts the largest Saturday market of the region, ancient Roman sites, chateaus and early farms, vineyards, olive and fruit orchards, lavender and sunflower fields.
Local supporters of the Morris Farm have donated their completely renovated historic cottage on the water in Preble Point in Arrowsic. This property is great for those who want to get away but stay closer to home. Or, those who want to invite friends or family from away up to enjoy Maine's waterfront together.
Tickets are $25 each, or five for $100. Each raffle location will be drawn separately, so choice of property must be specified. Ticket purchasing couldn't be easier: Purchase securely on the website, or in person at the Morris Farm. Winners will be notified immediately.
