Each year, students in music classes at Wiscasset Elementary School participate in “Musical Madness” (fashioned after college basketball’s “March Madness”). This year, the theme is “Happy 250th, America!” Students will learn 16 patriotic songs and vote on their favorites until we have a winner.

In addition, students in grades K-3 will give a concert on May 6, with the same theme, where they will perform patriotic music in celebration of our nation’s birthday. Our WES Chorus will also present some patriotic music at its concert on May 18.
