New design for Damariscotta’s cruiser
Sat, 05/10/2014 - 9:00am
After months of working with Great Salt Bay students, the design is in.
The Damariscotta Police Department’s newest cruiser, a Ford Taurus, has finally been wrapped up in a design that was the collaboration between the school and the department.
Police Chief Ronald Young worked with the students to develop the look, which features GSB blue stripes and Damariscotta’s leaping alewives crest.
The fish aren’t the only fauna on the cruiser; the GSB Cougar is also represented on the vehicle.
Young said in an earlier meeting that during his time at the Lincolnville Police Department he’d had the school do something similar.
