All incumbents will appear unopposed on the March 15 election ballot in Alna. Only the incumbents turned in nomination papers by the February 5 deadline, Town Clerk Amy Warner said.

No one else took out papers, Warner said.

Second Selectman Jonathan Villeneuve and Third Selectman David Reingardt are each seeking a new 2-year term; Road Commissioner Jeff Verney and Town Treasurer Honora Perkins are each seeking another one-year term.

Polls will be open at the fire station from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Warner said. Town meeting is the next day, March 16, at a time to be announced.
