Not tired of winning
Dear Editor:
At one time Trump said, "We're gonna win so much, you may even get tired of winning." The wins are adding up for hard-working American patriots. Other groups are suffering; the crooked politicians, the corrupt deep state, the grifters including the green energy coalition, the pharmaceutical industrial complex, the Lame-Stream Media, and the mental health of the Trump haters.
Six months ago, our borders were open, drugs and criminals were flowing in, and manufacturing and jobs were in a death spiral. Illegals were given a fast track for benefits and jobs. Kids were dying from China produced drugs. We could not produce strategic goods or build military weapons without China’s help. The country was being run by an autopen and unelected hacks.
Now, the country is being run by Trump and his handpicked Cabinet. The borders are shut, and illegals and criminals are going home. Hard-working Mainers will not have Janet Mill’s 75,000 New Mainers to compete with them for jobs, housing, and benefits. Criminal cartels are now designated as terrorist organizations and “war” has been declared on their human trafficking and drug distribution.
Inflation is near its lowest level in four years, energy prices are down, and billions of dollars are coming into the US to build new manufacturing. No taxes on tips or overtime will reward our blue-collar workers. NATO has stepped up and are paying their fair share. New markets are opening for American goods.
Trump is pardoning and releasing the Biden Administration’s political prisoners. DEI is being eliminated from our military, and they are being prepared to prevent (or win) the next war. The elimination of massive fraud now protects Social Security. Anti- Semitism (an all-too-common prejudice of Marxists and Socialists) is being identified and eliminated. Men are out of women’s sports. Election integrity and confidence in our elections, a concern felt by a majority of Americans, are being addressed.
It is an unprecedented list of accomplishments and should be celebrated by anyone that wants a fairer, more successful, more powerful, more respected America, and a safer world. I’m not tired of winning. Are you?
Joe Grant
