Pianist Danny Holt performs at Bay Chamber
Pianist Danny Holt will perform at Bay Chamber on Friday, April 3 at 1 p.m. Known for his dazzling virtuosity, Danny performs around the globe in concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl, as well as clubs and art galleries. He has collaborated with ensembles including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Blue Man Group, the Bang on a Can All-Stars, and the Calder Quartet, earning acclaim for his adventurous spirit and versatility.
The concert program brings together contemporary works influenced by jazz, rock, and popular music, from Jon Batiste’s "Chopinesque" to Hans Zimmer’s "First Step" to the driving rhythms of Karen Tanaka’s "Techno Etudes."
On Saturday, April 4 at 11 a.m., Danny will present a free educational concert for kids at part of Bay Chamber’s Muddy Boots Series. The concert is free to all families, children and caregivers – and no registration is necessary. Tickets and more information are available at baychamber.org.
