Lynne Seitzer's artwork will be featured through September 30 at Joy to the Wind Gallery. An opening reception, in conjunction with the First Friday Arts Tour, will be September 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. 

Art lovers and friends are welcomed. Joy to the Wind Gallery is located at 34 Atlantic Ave. in Boothbay Harbor. The gallery is by the footbridge on the east side of the harbor.

Lynne Seitzer’s painted views of the land are quietly understated and serene. Her simple, clean compositions are painted in a richly limited palette. Soothing tonality becomes the unifying element in this collection “Quiet Look at the Land.” Seitzer developed her landscapes in muted greens, burnt siennas, orchres and brown umbers. The variety of brushwork compliments the textural fields and tree lined meadows.
