Richard Carlton Boucher

Richard Carlton Boucher, 62, of Wiscasset died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

He was born in Berlin, N.H., on February 25, 1950, a son of Neil and Maureen (Kier) Boucher.

He graduated from Berlin High School in 1963. He later attended New Hampshire Vocational Technical College receiving his associate's degree in electrician technology. On October 16, 1971 he married Lena Boutin.

He enjoyed hunting, playing cards with friends and spending time with his family.

He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge #71 since 1983 and Sons of the American Legion Post #21 for 12 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Boucher of Wiscasset; one son, Rene Boucher and his wife Dawn of Aiken, South Carolina; one daughter, Peggy Laflamme and her husband Scott of Lewiston; his mother, Maureen Masters of Gorham, New Hampshire; two sisters, Sonia Levesque and her husband Richard of Gorham, New Hampshire and Paula Angelosanto and her husband Tom of Derry, New Hampshire; one grandson, Alex Bourdouvalis; two granddaughters, Taylor Laflamme and Morgan Laflamme; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one brother, Charles Boucher.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, 1-5 p.m., at the American Legion Post #21, 200 Congress Ave., Bath. Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Condolences may be made online at www.daiglefuneralhome.com/.
