Orne’s Candy Store, which sponsors the Arthur Webster Memorial Rock Skipping Contest, off footbridge lot in Boothbay Harbor, has announced the following:

“Unfortunately due to early morning storms this year's rock skipping contest has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. We hope to see you at next year's event!”
