Rocky’s Ace Hardware, a family-owned business with neighborhood-based stores in six states, will kick off the season of giving with their annual “Round Up for Kids” fundraiser. The campaign, taking place now through Dec.1, supports local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.

“The Round Up is what really gets us in the holiday spirit each year,” said Rocky’s Ace Hardware President Rocco Falcone. “Children have a special appreciation for the season, so it’s the perfect time for this opportunity to help ensure they always receive the very best care.”

During the Round Up, customers are asked to round up their purchase total to the next dollar with the difference in price being donated to CMN Hospitals. In addition to the Round Up, Rocky’s will sell World’s Finest Chocolate Bars for $1 with 48 cents going to CMN from each bar sold.

Last year, Ace Hardware customers across the nation “rounded up” to collectively raise nearly $4 million for CMN Hospitals. Rocky’s followed with their annual Bucket Day Sales in August, which allowed customers to donate $5 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for a limited-edition, five-gallon bucket and receive 20 percent off all the non-clearance items at checkout that they could fit in the bucket.

“Every year, our customers break their own record for incredible generosity,” said Falcone. “We look forward to what is sure to be another very successful campaign.”

One hundred percent of funds raised benefit Boston Children’s Hospital and Baystate Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts, UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital in Florida, Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Rhode Island, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Maine.
