The Regional School Unit 12 board will meet June 26 to consider a proposed pullout deal with the town of Windsor. The special board meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in the Whitefield Elementary School gym.

If Windsor goes through with a withdrawal, it would become the second town to leave the district. Wiscasset took its final vote to leave in November 2013 and is on its own July 1.

Westport Island voters on June 10 decided to drop that town’s process that had been under way toward a possible pullout from the district.
