Regional School Unit 12’s board is set to consider Palermo’s pullout deal tonight, May 8.  Approval would send the plan on to the state for the first of two nods it needs from the education commissioner, District Superintendent Howard Tuttle said.

Also on tonight’s agenda is a closed-door session to discuss negotiations with teachers and support staff. The board is scheduled to approve the warrants for both the May 20 meeting on the proposed $19.7 million budget, and the June 10 district-wide budget vote.

Tonight’s meeting in the Palermo Consolidated School gym starts at 6:30 p.m.
