Ryan Matthew DiPierro, 27, died at his residence in Wiscasset on Aug. 13, 2016.

He was born in Damariscotta on June 16, 1989, a son of Mark Matthew and Tenlee (Blanchard) DiPierro.

Ryan attended Wiscasset High School and the Royal Academy where he graduated in 2007. He then attended SMCC and completed his education at SAE in Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned an audio engineering certificate.

Ryan was born an entertainer. He made people laugh with his quick wit and dry “Maine humor.” He had a kind heart and beautiful soul. His true passion, from a very young age, was music. A self taught guitarist and a singer/songwriter, he and his friends formed several bands from middle school through adulthood. They made amazing music, did some tours and played numerous local gigs.

He was also an artist in landscaping which he did for approximately eight years. Ryan loved hiking, camping with his Dad and just getting out in the woods and close to nature.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Tenlee (Blanchard) DiPierro and her significant other David Townsend of Scarborough; his father, Mark Matthew DiPierro and his wife Lorraine (Jordan) of Windham; his beloved sister and best friend, Katie Ann DiPierro of Westport Island; paternal grandmother, Thelma DiPierro of Scarborough; maternal grandparents, Mona Blanchard of Presque Isle and Ted Blanchard and his wife Dalice of Presque Isle. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of his family as well as his girlfriend, Sheena Pinkham of Wiscasset, and many close friends that called him “brother.”

Ryan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Matthew Lawrence DiPierro and his uncle, Steve Onos.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath with Pastor Stephen Daniels officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Bath Area Seniors Activity Center, 45 Floral Street, Bath.
