The Maine Art Gallery invites artists to submit two marine artworks on Monday, Aug. 20, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Our juror J. Russell Jinishian will select from among the submissions. Jinishian is recognized as the nation's leading authority on contemporary marine art with more than 35 years experience in the art field. He is the author of “Bound for Blue Water,” considered the definitive guide to contemporary marine art and has been publisher of Marine Art News magazine since 2001, the world’s only magazine devoted to marine art.

Maine Art Gallery is at 15 Warren St. in Wiscasset. The fee for this exhibit is $15 for gallery members, $25 for nonmembers. For more information, call the gallery at 882-7511.
