September
Before it seems possible, it's September.
I know it's September because for my wife’s birthday I try to buy her a ring I bought for her 5 years ago.
It’s a nice ring.
And Tony Heyl at A Silver Lining offered me a great deal. Then he reminds me of my previous attempt to buy the same ring. He compliments my good taste.
Maybe a hormone shift comes with September, manifested in more frequent forgetfulness and things misplacement.
I have no evidence to support my belief that this is linked to a preoccupation with hurricanes and barometric pressure fluctuations, but I’m accumulating data.
It takes a little longer for me to process things in September. For example, I believe there is less activity in front of Tumbler Island this time of year.
Maybe it depends on where you look from. But I sense a change in the air. And like it or not, September arrives just in time to confirm it.
