According to Lincoln County Communications Director Tod Hartung, there were five accidents reported in Lincoln County today between 5 a.m. and 12 p.m.

There was one accident in Boothbay; two in Wiscasset; one in Damariscotta and one in Newcastle.

Since Tuesday, Dec. 18, the communication center has received reports of 18 accidents within the county.
