Bargain lovers, St. Philip’s Bargain Basement, 12 Hodge St., Wiscasset, is going to be open one more day! As of Nov. 17, the popular Bargain Basement will be available on Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m., with the exception, of course, of Thanksgiving, Nov. 24.  If Thursdays don’t work for the bargain hunter, the BB will also continue to be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Tuesdays from noon to 4 p.m.

One more chance each week is now available to scoop up those neat finds, folks. Whether looking for great deals on men’s and women’s clothing, bedding, books, electronics, tapes, toys and children’s items, household goods, and even some furniture, the BB is a great place to discover those gems for very little cost.

And how about the upcoming holiday season? There’s an amazing supply of Christmas delights. Whether decorations, mugs, dishes, candlesticks, and of course, those long loved — or despised — Christmas sweaters, there are plenty to choose from. Come on down!

All proceeds go to support St. Philip’s and its community outreach projects, including a connection with the Wiscasset Middle High School’s new clothing pantry, an addition to its food pantry that has been in operation for the past three years, so put a visit to the BB in your schedule, whether a Saturday, a Tuesday, or now a Thursday. It’s a win-win for one and all.
